The official Study in Azerbaijan information explains SIACAS, the centralised international admissions service linked to portal.edu.az. Applications are passed to the selected institution for assessment, and the institution may request further information or an interview.
Check the current process for your proposed intake. A submitted application is not an admission offer, and a consultancy conversation does not reserve a university place.
Match the course to your academic preparation
Ask the university about subject prerequisites, qualification equivalence and teaching language. Clarify whether there is a foundation or language stage, what progression depends on, and which institution awards the final qualification.
For professional degrees, identify the authority that would assess your qualification in the country where you plan to work. Obtain course-level information before assuming that a particular degree will meet those requirements.
Plan documents, costs and arrival separately
Request the official tuition schedule and accommodation information, then add travel, insurance and daily living costs to your own budget. Confirm payment deadlines and any published withdrawal or refund terms with the university.
